Triple Point Brewery
The Brief: Create the new “Debut” beer can design for Triple Point Brewery, a brewery in Sheffield which distributes beer to over 1200 pubs over the UK. There was little to no other instructions other than go off the name “Debut”. I really enjoyed this brief, it was given to hundreds of students by triple point and my two designs ended top in the top four candidates after voting.
The beers flavour was a little wacky and fruity so I knew I wanted bright colours to reflect that. Going off the theme of Debut, I wanted to use the theme of “first time events” e.g the first time a cat has been underwater on a skateboard or the first time a shark has grown legs.
For my second design I focused more on the type to try to reflect the flavour of the beer
The colour palette I chose reflects the beachy fruity taste of the beer. I once again used bright colours to make the can bold and stand out as much as possible. I wanted the yellow sand colour and texture to look like beer with bubbles as well as sand on a beach.
